February ALREADY?!

I can't believe we are already in the second month of the year! I remember when I was a kid, time seemed to pass SO slow! Now it's just FLYIN'!

After my month break from work due to Christmas break, I'm back at it. I'm really, REALLY disgusted by the animation teacher. I mean, I really can not stand to be around him. He is the most arrogant prick. He thinks because he has a master's degree that he knows everything. Funny, when he needed to capture the video for his digital video class, he told ME to do it because he didn't know how. UGH. And as I sit here and type this while I'm at work, he is playing Super Smash Brothers on his Gamecube with his students. I don't know if I can take all this professionalism.

Next month I will be grading for my green belt in TKD. I LOVE TKD! I wish that I had started it years ago! And let me tell you, this is the most effective weight loss plan I've ever been on! I started out 11 months ago wearing size 24 and 3 X clothes. This morning I put on a sweater that was size "L". An "L" without an "X". I was SO excited!! In fact, I bought a new uniform last night and bought a size 5. When I started doing TKD, I bought a size 8, which was the largest size they carry. I'm THRILLED!

In a few weeks, we have a tournament, and the kids and I will be going. I'm already nervous because I'm not real confident about this pattern, but you have to have 6 in order to be certified when you go to Black Belt grading, so I have to go :-( I hate getting up in front of people, but it's getting easier, thanks to the TKD owners. She's made me the spokesperson for losing weight with TKD. I don't really MIND, but I hate getting in front of people. LOL!
